This book was better than I expected. And I didn’t expect much of anything. It had a lot of ‘deep’ moments without being cringey, and the dialogue flowed very well. The world building wasn’t too bad either. The last 100 pages of this book felt rushed and the last act definitely just pops out at you with no warning. Which isn’t the worst thing but it made it feel a little corny. The very last page was a great ending to this story though. I definitely feel like this is something that gets better every reread.

Another YA book but definitely a bit more innocent than the other YA books I've been into. A good read for the morning. Nothing like a YA book to feel like a speed reader.

This was a very cute story with just enough mystery and action to keep the plot moving and interest high. Recommended for readers who DO NOT want romance or kissing in their books! ;P

Lily and her mother, Arden, come to stay in the old mansion that has been in Arden's family for 100 years. Arden is a bit flighty and she drags Lily to a new place every time she breaks up with another boyfriend.
Strange things happen in the creepy old house that only Lily notices, but can't explain. Lily, though she does not believe in the supernatural, soon realizes that the house is haunted. Lily and her new friend, Vaz, set out to discover what the ghosts want.
