Poetic, intelligent, and oh so helpful advice. This collection made me feel seen and heard, and also a little like I wanted to go be a woods witch! Loved it.

This book is a weird, macabre, exquisite delight. The author has collected submissions from people who ask Baba Yaga for advice on many mundane, universal problems of being human, and the author writes back as Baba Yaga, in a swampy, skeletal, slithering voice that perfectly fits the reclusive, semi-feral witch from old Russian folklore. Baba Yaga's advice is somehow ageless and timely, profound and poetic, wild and heartfelt. I can already tell I will read this book many times.

Life lessons through metaphor and intriguing illustrations. I love the voice of Kitaiskaia’s grandma witch character.

there were many gems of lines in there and the book is incredibly relaxing. that said, it can get boring and i got a little tired of all the nature metaphors. it’s not quite poetry either.

Baba is not so prickly in this book as in the last, but rather successful at a soothing touch upon the questions asked. Sometimes I missed her pointy spine, but her wisdom is helpful nonetheless
