It was Very Very interesting read, finding out what happens when a criminal is on death row in the final moments before they were put to death by the state , interesting to see what they chose as their final meals . It was defiantly worth reading. I couldn’t put the book down.

This book was interesting, but it was lacking in something. I'm not sure what, but I was expecting more from this book. Some chapters were interesting and there were photos to illustrate part of the book.
I think that for me personally it had too many personal life information about the author that really didn't interest me so much. I was expecting more details about what goes on behind prison doors and how the inmates felt leading up to their death.

This story is about seeing the humanity in others, plain and simple. It doesn't matter what your view on the death penalty is, but shows a history of how Michelle's views morphed as she grew older and gained new perspectives in life. She focuses on the inmates as people, not monsters (well, not all of them at least). I thoroughly enjoyed her story, as she has an extremely rare view on the subject of the death penalty.
