i think i quite really enjoyed the book and kinda related to the mc - as in : life is rough, i have no idea how to interact with people so i don’t and then overthink every single little (in theory) meaningless interaction and avoid leaving my house as much as possible. anyways, i read like 68% of this at night in the middle of a mental breakdown, so it was a relatively easy fast read (don’t ask me how and why). at first i thought that the guy would be a chemist because of the molecule tattoo (i feel like molecules are more for chemists you feel me) so i was surprised (and felt betrayed

“Have you considered that maybe you’re already the way I want you to be? That maybe there are no signals because nothing needs to be changed”

4.5! Ali Hazelwood could write the same trope of petite woman falling in love with the big man who she thinks hates her but he's pushing her away all in the name of self-preservation and I would eat that shit up every single time.

I think Love, Theoretically is my favorite of hers currently. The relationship between Elsie and Jack is adorable and I especially loved Jack as the male MC. This was so stinking cute.
