This book had a lot of potential, which it studiously failed to meet. The author is very good at trying to be funny, and even succeeds sometimes, but the story has no real arc. This could easily have been a five-star book with some character development and giving more of the main characters agency.

An amusingly satirical look at the world of excess and addiction. From burgers to pizza, light beer to cigarellos, nothing is left unscathed.
