Addams fun, but anticlimactic ending

I guess I thought this would be more of a puberty/body image/girl talk story. The body image and teen pop culture theme was barely there and it mostly dealt with Wednesday's ennui with the mundane macabre. The humor felt fitting for the Addams family, but the ending felt abrupt.

I don't know who this is intended for. It mentions murder and torture a lot but doesn't get too graphic. The style looks more like a children's book. It suffers from the same effect as the animated movie did: it is not tame enough for kids or dark enough for adults.

Overall, the story was pretty good and it was a quick fun read.

Cute and funny with a little bit of the Addams' old charm.
