This didn’t do much for me. How many times does the magic artifact get taken away from each group? Overall the story was good but the consequences of actions didn’t have much weight despite the deaths involved. The art was from a variety of artists but was top-notch overall.

There's a lot going on here. I got the book for free so I can't complain too much, right? By getting it free when I did, I skipped a few Guardians volumes and as a result I was extra lost.

Overall, I really enjoyed the story. But! The pace was a bit stagnant in places.

I don't understand why everything has to be so complicated with Marvel? All the time traveling and weird bad guys are making me confused.

Why can't anyone learn that unknown power from the universe should not be messed with? Kitty Pryde tries to remind her fellow X-Men and Guardians that, yes, Black Vortex seems better than The Phoenix, but it's still a universe power that is unknown.

2021 Summer (July);
Reread of Baby!Jean Arc

Most of these were read in a blur of summer bliss in a hammock in a backyard garden as I finally followed up on my original reads of the baby!Jean storyline that I'd gotten half into before falling out of again. I really do continue to love this storyline mostly for her.

Incredibly. Boring. Pretty. Much. Forever.

I really wanted to like this more, but my distaste for Peter Quill has not abated at all.

Not the worst crossover I've read, and I read a bunch of books I wouldn't ordinarily. But it wasn't my favorite. Was more something I felt I had to get through once I'd gotten in. And all because of the Cyclops series that deserved a better ending than this.
