Quick short story. Nice lead in to the follow up larger book to be released in May.

This was a much more engaging short compared to the lead-in for The Balkan Escape. Approximately double in length, the story sets up and teases a bigger thrill ahead. Definitely a strong reason to read The Jefferson Key.

I liked this even though it doesn't feature Cotton.

Nice set up for the next Cotton Malone book. I love how Steve Berry interweaves history with fiction.

Just read Monuments Men, so this was interesting in the same tracks, but the alternate Martin Bormann/Eva Braun story was really great. But why does this Jonathan Wyatt character suddenly appear in Steve Berry's world?

A short story released to tie in with the full length novel [b:The Jefferson Key|10503124|The Jefferson Key (Cotton Malone, #7)|Steve Berry|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1320461212s/10503124.jpg|15408919]. This story introduces the character Jonathan Wyatt as he tracks down his former boss who turned against him and helped end his career.
Set in Argentina the story revolves around the remnants of the Third Reich with some Nazi's who escaped justice. For a Steve Berry book the action is virtually non-existant and the dialogue is heavy. A quick read I only read it as it is part of the ongoing Cotton Malone series.

I wish Berry had made this is to a full novel! It had lots of twists and I love the conspiracy of Hitler's Gold and Hitler's child...
