I was surprised that this is a sister trilogy like the brown sisters - I’m finding that I do enjoy reading short romcom series involving a group of siblings or friends! I loved violet and xavier (as well as lily and nick in the previous book), but I just prefer single-perspective romances and romcoms. this dual-perspective thing is growing on me, though.

I think the ending was a little underwhelming

(not the proposal!! that was cute as hell. the confrontation was underwhelming for me)

but that’s really my only complaint. I am very much looking forward to the love lyric!
