While I really liked the premise of this book, and honestly think it would make a great rom-com movie, there was just so much drama happening all the time. It made the relationship that was building between Lizzie and Cara feel like it was on the edge of breaking at any moment. I just think it could have been toned down a little bit to make this story feel more grounded and a bit less stressful.

I was really hoping this book would be better. Now, the book isn't bad, I enjoyed a lot of moments throughout the book. There were a lot of moments that made me laugh. However, miscommunication is my least favorite trope and it was really irking me when I was reading this book. Lizzie's relationship with pretty much everyone was really disheartening and I was very empathetic towards her. Cara and James really pissed me off but they sorta redeemed themselves in the end, even if I think everything was resolved too quickly. Overall, this was a decent read.

I cannot believe it took me this long to read but WOOOOOOOOOOOO these two are absolutely sweet. A weird way to get together, but it's very wholesome. Lizzie's character is amazing. Cara has some issues, but most of them are justified.

I hated the way these two got together, just not my favourite series of events or “meet cute”. And they didn’t communicate at all but somehow resolved everything??
