Well, I loved this. Not to get too deep, but as someone who has spent the majority of her life trying to be as agreeable as possible to the detriment of figuring out who I actually am, the idea of having someone see that about me and want the real me is the ultimate fantasy. And the credenza!

I love how smart Elsie is. I loved the banter. I loved how totally gone for her Jack was from the start. Both of his “I’m obsessed with you” speeches made me squeal. I also really loved the communication in this book. All the ways they shared information/didn’t share felt realistic and relatable as opposed to being something in the plot to cause drama

I am so glad I gave Ali Hazelwood another try! After finding The Love Hypothesis to be kind of average (compared to the hype it received) I was putting off reading another book of hers, but I absolutely loved this. Elsie was relatable and Jack is the perfect male love interest. I will be thinking about them for a long time!
