08/26/2020 - i was trying to listen to this one last night and realized i'd never written a review so, uh, RTC.
09/12 - **cw: animal death**
i find the carnacki stories some of the most consistently terrifying stories i've listened to from horrorbabble. which, big preesh to ian gordon for not only narrating the public domain carnacki stories but for also writing a few of his own (1) (2). anyways, these ones are terrifying and you should listen to them if you're into that kind of thing. there is a minor content warning in this one for an animal death. i was going to write a big long review for this one but it's been so long since i was able to listen to it all the way through that i can't remember much about it.
basically carnack is a scientist except his science is ghosts and the afterlife. sometimes the ghosts are real, sometimes they aren't. but it's up to him to figure out which is which.
