Definitely one rollicking action packed adventure you won't want to miss! While I'm an adult and outside the intended audience for the book (the book is aimed at middle grade and young adult teens), I still enjoy reading it.

Uncle Press and his nephew (the protagonist) Bobby Pendragon are back. This time, they're in the underwater ocean world of Cloral, tracking down their shadowy nemesis, Saint Dane, to prevent him from causing further chaos. This time, they will have to tell Cloral local Vo Spader that he needs to take over his dad's job as the protector of Cloral, before Cloral risks being destroyed.

Check out this story if you love:

- action packed scenes! The action flows fast, and is tension filled. I read each page quickly, worried about whether the characters would be ok.

- unique and well thought out world building! I'm happy that world building (agriculture, farming, architecture, history) in this story is simple but so detailed and intelligent.

- a protagonist who is brave, loyal and learns to be braver while improving his skills in self defense and conflict resolution.

- characters who like and respect each other, have fun, bond together, and who you want to hang out with! This isn't a must for a book to be good, but it's always a plus.

- a formidable antagonist who will stop at nothing to cause chaos.

- likable side characters who are kind and good humoured.

Mild spoiler: a beloved character does die in this book (and a side characters' parents also die), so be prepared and please take care of yourself. Please don't read if these scenes would upset you.
