After more consideration, I'm changing my rating from 3.5 stars rounded to 4 to just 3 stars. I did like this book and I love the author's writing as always but I'm having mixed feelings about this finale. I feel like the author was trying to do something that just didn't 100% work for me. I was tired of the love square. I wanted more character development for Lancelot. And I'm at the point where an ending where the heroine
Spoilerloses or gives up her powers
is always going to leave a sour taste in my mouth.

I enjoyed this trilogy a lot but I think it never quite recaptured the magic of the first book and so 3 stars it is.

I really enjoyed this finale to the Camelot trilogy. White takes liberties with the characters while remaining true to the original legend. I loved the new characters, especially Fina. There were some plot points that I didn't fully love and how Guinevere alternated between whiny helpless woman and stubborn confidence. I am still not sure how I feel about the revelation of her past self...I wanted something different. It's a long journey to the end and then finally you get there and it's over in a flash. Also, why not Lancelot?

"Such is the cost of living, such is the cost of moving though the world and rejecting apathy, such is the cost of being human."

This was a fun and fast paced series, with endearing characters. However, it tackled way to many topics to do any of them justice, the love triangle was painful, and *spoilers* I felt cheated out of a conclusion to Guinevere and Lancelots relationship.
