I didn't realize when I bought the book that it was the fourth in a series, so it was a little difficult figuring out the characters motivations at first. I should have read them in order after I realized what was going on, but by then I was caught up in the story. The characters are well-developed and the story is well-written. Their take on things and their morals are different than mine, but that makes the story intriguing. Romance isn't a genre I read much, so I might have been able to give five starts if it had been and if I hadn't been a little confused at first. I definitely think fans of romance will enjoy this book.
