**I received this book for free in exchange for my honest review**

First, can we talk about the cover? In in love.

Now to the review. I give Casting Souls a solid 4.5 stars. Unfortunately it is the last book on the series but Becca has hinted that more is on the horizon!

The gang is headed to Portsmouth to meet Solon in order to try and save his son Tristan. Solon has made it very clear what he'll do if they don't show up. Briar is still conflicted with herself because even though she has discovered additional powers within, it hasn't solved her ultimate problem which is to figure out a way to stop Grayson from devolving.

Upon arrival at Portsmouth, things are looking super bleak with the town. A mysterious construct is going around killing people in addition. To the ferromancers are all gathering in the city to figure out a way to defeat Solon. Suffice to say, this is the final battleground between ferra, ferromancers and their constructs and humans.

I was pretty hooked to this book, not gonna lie. I couldn't put it down even when I had to and devoured it in three days. The storyline is fast paced but full of action without leaving any glaring loopholes. I especially enjoyed Perseus in this story. We learn a little more about his origins and just how badass he is. Even though the story is building to a climax at a rapid pace, Becca still surprised me at some parts and I physically felt heartache at other parts. I only took off half a star because I wished the romance scenes were more picky but that's my super romantic side talking. 😂

Casting Souls came out April 1st so make sure you pick it up and if you haven't read any of the series, make sure you to star at the beginning with Ferromancer! Highly recommend!
