Entertaining, lots of interesting stories and factoids. Many places are not that exciting (not particularly interesting tombstones or plaques or private residences), but the author does a good job making them interesting to read about, if not visit. Unfortunately the author has a knack of not hitting places at the right time (misses a huge festival by a mere 12 hours, goes to a bar in the early afternoon), which may be related to poor research skills or misanthropy. Either way, a fun read.
One small gripe is there a lot of obvious grammar or homonym errors and this book could have used some editing, as it comes across as very blog posty (as his other book like this does).
