Gordon Korman was one of my favorite authors growing up and his more recent books I've read have held up. But this older book was a bit much. It's pure farce with mostly unlikable characters (the protagonist is one of the decent ones as the book's straight man) and a cover that would never fly by today's standards. And now I'm hesitant to reread Son of Interflux, the book I least remember clearly and have been wanting to reread.

I remember my grade five teacher reading this one out loud to the class. Great selection, though I haven't reread it since.

This book is a little hard to review for me. I liked it, interesting storyline, but the some little details brought it down a little bit. The ending was a little unrealistic and I thought this seemed a little too crazy. Well written though.

I've always liked Gordon Korman and this book lived up to his style. It was a light, fun read, which was exactly what I was looking for!

This cracked me up when I was a kid! I read it so often that it fell apart, literally.
