Not really a fan of short stories. I felt the connecting character story was not explored enough.

Some of the stories were fantastic while others were mediocre, but the connecting narrative really won me over at the end. Atwood’s absolutely bizarre contribution was immediately my favourite (I had guessed it was R. L. Stine incorrectly, but theirs was also a favourite of mine), and the other worldly undercurrents really pay off in the conclusion.

Wanted to love it but found it very odd - disjointed, hard to keep track of. Finished but honestly don't understand what they were trying to do. If I could go back in time I would read something else.
