What series are you not ready to say goodbye to yet?

Okay so this EPIC finale was everything, and I mean EVERYTHING I needed it to be. I couldn't stop reading. And it has taken a while to form the words for this review. Mostly because I am so mad and disappointed that this series is ending

Loved this series and the end did not let me down. So good. I just want to sit down and reread it.

This was a terrible ending to an otherwise good series. I felt like there was all this build up about the prophecy, and the villains, just for the war to feel only halfway urgent? All the characters were split up, there were way too many POVs, main couple in ditch, a surprise unnecessary pregnancy (and these characters are all teenagers), a romance and a half that were both only partially expanded upon, 2 new villains with zero motive and no time for me to care about either of them... like what was this?!

This wasn't my favorite and that's upsetting but like..the series was good for what it was while I was reading it

This is the last book in this series. And the ending was absolutely perfect. This book picks up exactly where the last book finished. Our group is still trying to save the world while working through their feelings for each other. By the end of this book I laughed, cried and smiled and then did it all over again. Such a perfect ending

4.5 Stars

This was a brilliant end to a fantastic series. It is so close to a 5 stars but I can't quite give it as I have been left with quite q few unanswered questions which I think needed to be tied up more than what we got from the final chapter.
Still, I am left happy and really loved these characters and this world.
I am guessing from the ending that there will be a spin off series with Brighty as the lead character which I am excited for as I love her character.

I really recommend this series to ya fantasy fans. Its such a great, imaginative read and deserves much more hype than it has had. Loved it!

I am both overjoyed and sad to be writing this review, because I love these books and characters and this is the last book for Xander, Rafe, Lyana and Cassi. This is a fantastic read, just like the three previous books in the series and if you’ve read them , you know you have to read this. (If you haven’t what are you waiting for, the first book is the Raven and The Dove, run now and buy or borrow it - from a library obviously)

This is a fantastic return to our friends and I loved the prologue as it pulled me right back in, this is full of action, adventure, excitement, emotion, joy and tears, it brings twists and turns and some really did leave me gobsmacked. As always Kaitlyn’s writing and world building is absolutely beautiful and well crafted. I’m so happy with how everything played out in this (no spoilers) and that ending, wow and just perfection. If you want well written, well crafted fantasy with characters you’ll care for and be attached to, this book and this series is definitely for you.

Thanks to the author Kaitlyn Davis for an ARC of this in return for an honest review, I loved these so much I purchased them when they came out too. Can’t wait for the next projects from Kaitlyn.

Very exciting! Even though it did take me a while to get back into the story again.

I thought this was the last part in the series, but the ending has me questioning that.
