JOSH WHOEVER is the story of a hero/antihero who wants to be neither. Josh is a veteran with no ambition to be anything other than the drunk and con man that he is. The world wants more, and sometimes less, from him.

Here we have a satirical romp through the underbelly of the Russian mob and the surrounding less fortunates to be found in the back alleys and gutters. As fate would have it, Josh wants to avoid sobriety by talking his way out of being the hero, and is thwarted in those efforts at every turn.

Michael Guillebeau is one of my favorite authors. His writing is crisp; his characters are real. These attributes can be found in all the books of his that I've read. It is always a joy to read a well-crafted story that leaves you wanting more at the end. His quirky satire is at the top of my hit parade.
