Maybe I need to have a better poetry foundation to enjoy this book, or maybe I'm just bitter because he ended the individual Legionnaire poems before getting to Tellus and Quislet, but I didn't think these poems were anything special. I am probably the biggest Legion nerd on this site, which I admit with only a tiny bit of embarrassment. The basis for all of these poems is known to me. They're very clever but I don't think they're special. I can't imagine how someone outside of fandom, and not a friend of the author, would react to them.
