Diamond is an excellent short story (I think it's about 11 pages? It took me maybe 10-20ish minutes to read). It left me turning pages having no idea what was going to happen next. I really enjoyed the writing style, finding it very easy to read, and sort of like ... a classic mystery taste.
The author shows a lot of potential, and I'm dying to read the other book(s?) he has out.
There were a couple sort of formatting errors (a couple very minor ones in punctuation). I also sort of felt like ... it was cut off a bit soon? I think I just expected another major plot twist for some reason or other (or maybe I was just enjoying the story too much and didn't want it to end xD) Other than that, loved it!

This was an enjoyable, though short, read. There were aspects of the mystery that I didn't know could even be done which made things a little more fun.
I would have liked a little longer story as there were several times that felt rushed to me. I also wasn't given much time to try and figure out the mystery on my own. ;) But I did really like the detective and will probably read more books by this author.
