An amazing look into Jewish life in Europe right before World War II. Kreisel gives the reader a deep understanding of what the social and political situations many Jews found themselves in during that time was like. The plot runs smooth and the lessons you (and the characters) learn will be hard to forget.
A must read for anyone interested in the subject!
