Nothing too exciting really happens in this volume.

We do get to know a little bit more about Masa's family, and some of the mystery involving Yaichi seems to be unraveling.

I just don't have too much to say on this front, except I'm yearning to find out where this is all going.

Sweet, it's the backstory volume. I think this might not have been the right time for me to be reading this though, I didn't find myself liking it as much as the last two volumes and I don't think the quality's changed. 3.5 stars

Among the members of the Five Leaves, Matsu & Yaichi are the ones with the much-blured background. Nobody knows exactly who they were and nobody has the courage to ask until Masa. But still, he got not much of what the others already knew.

While Yaichi is the mastermind, Matsu is the information gatherer & he works really discreetly. However, when one day none of them can't seem to find him, the alarm kinda went off. And then, someone from Masa's village come to find him, who would show another side of his character.

Things getting interesting & we're able to see the dynamic between the members and also those who know about them. I'm starting to root for some of them.

I think I'm obsesssed with how Natsume Ono draws faces. I enjoyed this volume. Good story building. Great art. Look forward to next!
