This was my third outing with Race Williams and so far it was the best. I'm beginning to like this tough guy a bit. There is a bit more meat to this tale that the previous ones I've read. Even though the big reveal of the "Red Peril" is easily guessed the story has a good pulp feel to it: definitely two-fisted with brazing guns. When the action starts it doesn't let up. And the "Red Peril" is a treat; I wonder if there is more in the future.
