I honestly didn’t know what to expect coming into this, romance isn’t my favourite genre but living fantasy and especially vampires, I had to give it a try - I’m happy to say, I loved it! The wit and humour was just so good, it’s made me want to buy other Ali Hazelwood novels to see if they are as good.

This book is definitely outside what I usually read and I found it incredibly stupid, but that’s part of its appeal. It’s a silly romance with heavy fanfic inspiration, a regular part of Hazelwood’s works. I would definitely recommend this read if you’re looking for something easy and lighthearted, there’s nothing new here but still an incredibly fun story!

I didn't expect to enjoy this book as much as I did, but I couldn't stop reading. 
I loved the characters and the chemistry between them. 
There were a few decent plot twists, and the world building was good.

Overall a great read!
