This is an amazing collection of short stories from all over Africa, and really gives not only a sense of place but a sense of the different kinds of characters and individuals who populate the continent. I'm so tired of the stereotypes in fiction of African characters as gangsters, illiterates or backdrops for a safari adventure.

These stories are real, honest, and spectacular. Definitely worth reading.
