A very mixed bag. Some of the work is really good, some of it is...not.

A lot of these stories had tons of potential, but I just don’t think most of them worked as short stories. I just wanted more.

A nice and diverse collection of graphic novel short stories, an easy read and a decent buffer after feeling a bit slumpy. Lots of these stories had really pretty and unique artwork, and a couple of them I enjoyed (specifically the non-binary vampire one, & the sapphic poetry across death one). However, the majority of these stories felt quite lack lustre and lacking in depth & I found myself generally disconnected throughout my reading

Some good, some not so good, but all strange and well, gothic.

Since it is an anthology, you get a very mixed bag, but it is rathe refreshing. Some stories were just strange.

So good! It's rare to see short comics stories so expertly crafted, with clear arcs and exciting twists, gracefully constructed. The art is as varied as it is beautiful. The mix of dark turns and happy endings leaves the reader on their toes, never knowing what to expect. Loved it.

Some really excellent gems in here - I specifically loved Glasshouse, Under the Bed, The Crowned Ones and New Blood.
