The protagonist of this story is a goblin and a below-average one at that. It was fun to read a fantasy work whose main character isn't an epic, unstoppable hero, and who made bad decisions because he thought they were the best ones to make. The concept for the world was a bit of a twist, and the setting, goblin cultures, and characters were interesting and well-written.
