Love this book and series! The minute one ends I want to continue reading to the next (but it has to get published)! As an adult, I wanted more and more of the world building. But for kids in the target range, I think it’s just right. Great for lovers of Avatar the Last Airbender. Characters have lovable friendships and Soontornvat’s descriptions of the island are colorful and newworldly and interesting (so many different kinds of colorful fruit you can learn about!) for those who haven’t travelled or aren’t from Eastern hemisphere spaces. 😊
