This book was a breath of fresh air, with two harems building and two sisters finding their destiny, there is a lot going on! With amazing world building and diverse societies with that world, you would think it's hard to keep track, not to mention the ten main characters, but it isn't. By the end you are so fully invested with all of them, you can't wait to see what happens next! The two FMC's have been raised as sisters, fraternal twins. But when things come to light and one of them is clearly not a witch like the rest of their family, but a wolf shifter. It becomes clear that the girls parents, who died tragically, were not just hiding her parentage, but also her existence from some evil group that wants her dead. The harems build up slowly and by then end of the this book, although they are all identified, they are not all mates. So it's slow burn in that regard, but in terms of steam? There is some and it's very hot, I can't wait to see more of that in subsequent books - the chemistry and tension is electric. I love the protective wolf, with the sweet personality and who bakes when she is stressed and I love the sassy and fiery witch, that has so much powerful potential, but sees herself as a weak witch and I love that her men are such a mix! This is a truly unique series and well done to the authors!

New Moon Rising is the first book in the Children of the Moon series. While this is a slow to medium burn, the worldbuilding and storytelling is incredible! While I really enjoy reading Cassandra Featherstone and Serenity Rayne individually, both of these authors really sync together beautifully. I definitely am looking forward to this series!!

As far as co-writes goes, this one is great! I loved how they had each sisters pov .   although I wasn’t sucked in and it took me a bit to get into it. I enjoyed the book!  I loved Fi and Fer and their harems. I loved seeing how the sisters deepened and trusted one another so much  it was a 4 star read for me.   And boy is she thick. It will also be a 5 book series so cant wait to see whats in store for them.

This is such a unique series already!! We follow two sisters as they find their mates, their past and what is hunting for them. Full of steam and a really great plot - I loved all of the multiple POVs and how it kept us wanting more. Feray is definitely my favorite sister - Fiadh is a little too impulsive and her temper is too strong for my liking (she’s a great character and everyone will relate to one of the sisters somehow). I can’t wait to see what’s next for our sister as they embark on their paths!

New Moon Rising

I loved this story. Two sisters, each with their own harem and plenty of multi pov's without getting lost in who and what. It's a great storyline. The book is long but it really needed to be and I appreciate that. I'm super excited for book 2.

I honestly didn’t think I would like this book because I usually only read spicy books but I actually enjoyed it. I didn’t mind that it’s slow burn, the few spicy scenes it did have only added to the story, I also didn’t know how well I would react to the dual sisters pov but I loved it, I got to see the different reactions that they both had and I honestly can’t wait for the second one

This new series by Cassandra Featherstone and Serenity Rayne follows two sisters who are finding out that not everything is as it seemed and throughout the story try to juggle their new reality and men and every question that only reveals more questions.

The FMCs are on two spectrums character wise. Fiadh is the protector, quick witted and very easy to anger, and lash out in anger, Feray is more of a caretaker, believing in love and a little more shy. The men range from very sweet to very fond of themselves. The spice level is pretty low. The story is told in various POVs, in the beginning only the girls, later on the guys as well.

I enjoyed the story and the world and relationship building. At the same time, I wish that the story would have progressed a bit more, especially because the book is so big. Sometimes, the characters felt a bit clueless, but there is charm in there as well. There were also some really funny scenes.

All in all, the series is off to a good start and a definite recommend. I received this book for an honest review.

What a fantastic start to a new series. So well written and such a different start to a series : Children Of The Moon.

Heads up this is long. But at no point was I thinking “when will this be over” it was that good.

Make sure you read the intro from the authors it explains how the series will move forward.

These character were fantastic. Not perfect but fantastic. I laughed. I cheered. I felt their pain they have such great personalities and traits.

The storyline built the whole way through. Making way for a book two.

I love the journey that these characters are on and I can’t wait for book 2.

Well done to the authors!

A great start to what I believe will be a promising shifter series, along with some magic and spice of course! (Heck we might even see some more flowers and sparkles, iykyk) This co-op book was does rather well, I honestly do not know how the authors melded everything so well as the flow is great and it doesn't really read like two people wrote it. (Fantastic job CF and SR)

This has been one of my favorite shifter books, and I've read quite a bit. I think what I found so interesting is the amount of shifters that we are exposed to through reading this book - not to mention that there are more details given about certain shifters as they tend to give our two FMC's a bit more of an education than they had previously within the witch community that they were raised in.

Definitely a slow burn, but once you get further into the story, there are definitely some spicy scenes! Although I'm super excited to see what happens in the next story as the mate bonds continue to snap into place and give us more details regarding a few of the other shifters/supes.

This one does end on a cliff-hanger, but it's not a super doozy but more so one that sets up for the next part of our characters' journeys and is expected. I am excited for the next one though as I think we will learn even more about the mysteriousness that's been plaguing our females from the beginning.
