Well I must say I really enjoyed this. I was a bit unsure when a friend recommended it but oh how wrong I was!

Imagine Agatha Christie mixed with Groundhog Day mixed with a little Sci-Fi and you get The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle (not to be confused with The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo - I mean, spoopy how similar those titles are right?). What cinches this book for me is not only the incredibly carefully thought out plot (Turton is a real human spider to weave all his threads together so well!) but the truly endearing protagonist whose shoulder you ride upon throughout this novel. I love Aidan Bishop - he behaves exactly how I would, makes the same mistakes I would and sticks with his gut even after its changed places 4 or 5 times.

I won't say anymore as I do not wish to spoil this gem of a book. Just read it. Trust me, you won't regret it and if you love murder mysteries, this a delightfully wicked knot you will thrill in trying to unpick.

What a great book to finish and start a year upon!

Det är ganska många olika personer och ibland hade jag lite svårt att hålla isär dem (detta kan också bero på att jag delvis läste boken mitt i natten...), men det är en bra bok med många olika twists och även om man räknar ut en del av dem så hände det alltid något mer som jag inte såg komma.
