For those of us who grew up in the middle of the Hoosier state, I cannot recommend the poetry of Jared Carter highly enough - and yet it is universal enough to appeal to anyone. You will recognize the landscape, the thoughts and feelings, and the political atmosphere of an era. I'm thankful that Jared is finally getting some of the recognition he deserves.
