“She’s the center of gravity for me, the thing that keeps me tethered to earth and reminds me every single day that although this world is fucked up, there is still so much beauty to experience while you’re here.”

I really enjoyed this book, Tucker was such a grump and I loved him. The spicy scenes were top notch, sexy as hell. No third act break up either which was amazing.
I loved that Tucker and Miranda never believed their exes when they started to meddle

I enjoyed reading Before We Fall. There was lots of drama thanks to a cheating husband. It got real interesting when the wife meets the husband of the woman her husband cheated with. I swear no score card needed. Miranda may have been screwed over by her husband, but Tucker knows how to treat a women.

There is lots of family drama with Tucker's ex wielding a spoon to stir up trouble, lots and lots of trouble. Miranda knows what she has in Tucker and not falling for Naomi's garbage.

Adding suspense to the story is Tucker and his brother, Mile's murder case. Things aren't always what the seem to be and solving it will take sometime. The investigation puts their true mission of finding corruption with in the department on a back burner.

I can only hope the mystery is solved in book 2.
