Lovely novella of two old friends, once college boyfriends and now recent widowers.  At nearly 60 and 62, they rashly and drunkenly book a trek to Machu Pichu and grow closer as they train for it.

As I see stairs around the city, I think of the training done before their trip to Machu Piccu.
