This is not about leadership. It’s about marketing.

A guide for leaders to get to the core of their personal beliefs or the vision of their company. It also guides companies in marketing: always starting with WHY then moving to WHAT and HOW.

I found this to be a tedious and repetitive read; and it was missing some crucial information on how someone determines and refines their WHY.

The concept is good. But too much time spent explaining the idea and not enough on examples. The examples given were overused. And only big companies. I would have liked more examples from lots of industries and different sizes to see how people actually find and the inspire with their why.

I choose the book because of Simon's TED talk.
Though this book is good but often feels like extension of TED talk.

Plus highlighting failures of big companies seems fine in hindsight but majority of those must have tried really hard to succeed in their respective endeavors.

Good message, but clearly struggles to find and maintain momentum.
