Conclave was a great, short story to round out a little bit of this series and I'm glad that someone suggested to me not to skip it like I originally planned. This story starts of HOT and it morphs into a deep story that just really helps plant some roots and shows the depth of the friendships that these characters have for each other despite all of the tragedy and pain they have both inflicted and overcome. The bonus scene was absolute perfection and really tied up the book well.

Interesting to see the dynamic between Rika & Damon now but the focus is mainly on Rika & Michael again. I did appreciate Rika & Alex’s friendship being highlighted and showing more of Alex. Great read.
