I really enjoyed the story and reminded me a lot of a typical Mary Stewart gothic at first - set in a castle, a woman in danger, and two potential love interests. A couple of missed editing mistakes pulled me out of the story at times (these aren't spoilers don't worry: Aurora is referred to as a wife instead of a fiancee; people sitting down to dinner across the table, then sitting down to the same dinner but in different seats on the next page etc!) but overall kept me guessing and intrigued. I would definitely recommend and seek out the next books in the series.

I got this book for free from Amazon.com. My husband would give me crap if he saw the book cover, which is why it took me a while to actually start reading it. You know that whole "don't judge a book by its cover"? Exactly!!!
We start off with Chey Sinclair receiving notices on her door. She has no job, no money and doesn't know what else to do when suddenly a great opportunity comes knocking on her door. Literally...
She decides to take this once in a life time offer and moves to a far away land called Latvala. She gets to be around Royals!!! (I know, its a total Fairy Tale!!!)
She meets Mattias and has a sudden attraction to him, BUT he has a girl friend...
Then she meets Sander. And just the simple fact that he tackles her down to the floor off of a horse was AWESOME... Of course he thought she was an intruder...
She obviously battles within herself for who she wants.
And oh my goodness, of course she picks the right guy...
I love what unravels in this book. It was just awesome!! I was totally swooning...
I loved this book! My husband caught me several times gasping in surprise and laughing... He finally asked me what I was reading... I liked it enough to share the plot with him (which I usually don't do - I know, he just teases me a lot about the books that I read...).
I just HAD to go searching for the next book in the series. I couldn't help but start reading it immediately...
Would I recommed this book? YES
Is it for everyone? NO
I noticed that there were several reviewers that didn't like it... You know what? not everything is for everyone.

The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the grammar errors... Other than that its a pretty good book.

This was a really fun and feel good Cinderella story. Bourdon added extra interest into her novel about royals through the threats made towards Chey. This changed what would have been a standard royals novel, adding suspense and mystery.

I recommend Heir Untamed as a light and enjoyable read, perfect for anyone dreaming of Princes.

I went into this book not knowing that it was a serial novel, and that immediately made me drop a star from the rating. I hate serials! Moving past that, the story was engaging, but not that great.

Mostly, it's your typical Cinderella story, but this one had a lot of undercurrents that aren't addressed in this book. It's that lack of detail building that was so detracting from the story! Chay became a bit of a two dimensional character, lacking any real depth, and the same following with Sander. The story became rather predictable after this.

The writing was good, kept me interested and engaged, to the point where I had a hard time putting the book down, but I'm not sure I want to continue on with the series.

This was the first time I have read Danielle Bourdan and it definitely will not be the last! I can not wait to finish this series!

Chey Sinclair is facing eviction from her Seattle home and unless she can get a job soon it's not looking good. Then her luck seems turn as she has offered a job by the Ahtissari family to take family photographs for 4 months for $35,000.

After arriving Chey is initially attracted to one of the Royal sons, Mattias, but soon she meets the head of security, Sandor Fisk, who saves her life. As Chey is somewhat torn between the two men she finds herself in a precarious situation as she tries to discover which man she wants and her life is in danger.

When secrets come out and people aren't who they seem will Chey have enough and head home or will it be to late for her and her life?
