Viggo is everything. No words needed- you can see how much horses mean to him through his evocative photos.

I love both horses and photography and absolutely loved this series which seems to mostly from the set of Hidalgo although there also some photos possibly taken in the US and potentially Iceland (?) included.

I have read review elsewhere that described it as a bunch of blurry photos, which I want to address as it's only half the truth anyway, as some photos are perfectly sharp so there should be something for everyone here either way. As this is a series with quite a few images, it's also natural to prefer some of over others. As a photographer, my own work tends to be safer and less experimental as well, but I do find that the "blurry" shots are taken with intention/vision. Viggo clearly plays around with colours and motion and produces some really interesting results that are worthy of the subject matter. In fact I found that I could see a lot of my own feelings around horses reflected in the images - I absolutely loved this book.

If neither horses nor experimental art are your cup of tea, you probably won't enjoy this though.
