I’m gonna admit, I really liked this one. I picked it up because of a reel on bookstagram. It mentioned the body type representation and I was intrigued. You almost never see FMCs that have a curvier figure, so I was hoping that this one was done right. And it was! It’s not only a rockstar romance but a journey to self discovery. Both main characters have some intense soul searching to do, and while I love their romance, it’s more important for them to figure out who they are and who they want to be.

I will say, I am SO glad the cover on KU does not have this guy on it. I like to come up with my own images of the characters & I definitely saw Dominic more as a Jon Bon Jovi type with a beard, not whatever vibe this model on the cover is giving.

I loved this book much more than I ever thought I would. I connected with the characters instantly and I adored the FMC & MMC, all the side characters had Depth to them and the family feeling was great! I would highly recommend this if you enjoy grumpy/ sunshine/ age gap/ sexy silver rocker fox 🦊 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

unexpected and amazing

I feel like I’ve begun the new year with a true hit of serotonin after reading this fantastic book. If you enjoy redemptive stories of love after loss,and healing after disappointment, then you will adore Claire and Dominic’s story.
Julia Wolf, as always, delivers compelling storytelling, and characters with enough chemistry to burn down a lab.
