The quote "be careful what you wish for" gets more literal and relevant in this second issue. Apparently, Jessica isn't the only hero that has turned out to be undead after getting shot in the head. (It rhymes! hekehkehek). I really love how the illustrations have this superimposed pictures in the profile of a character everytime Jessica gets her P.I. senses whirring. On top of that, there's a healthy dose of unconventional female dynamics here that I just love. Jessica's indeed not your typical bad ass superhero.

I still can't believe that I almost didn't notice this digital only series. I would have seriously kicked myself had that happened.
I find it interesting that up until this issue they split each one into two parts, making it almost appear as if there were different plot going on. At first it was a bit disorienting, but once I realized what was really going on I found myself fascinated.
It's interesting how this one has been playing out. Those that were affected but lived, and those less fortunate. Though admittedly I feel like the impact for the latest victim was a bit...reduced. I mean, how many times has that girl been killed and brought back to life? Sorry to sound harsh, but the second I found out who it was I knew how that one was going to play out, so it sort of removed the mystery.
As for the revelation at the end...color me interested. I'll be curious to see how that one ended up happening, based on the ability set that is being used. I have some theories, but it'll be nice to have them confirmed (or proven wrong).
