OK so this has nothing to do with the book, which I liked BTW, but I was wondering do many 'Irish' pubs in America offer Bangers and Mash on their menu's? Because that's a British dish just saying!!!!

The potential was there. It really was.
Elliot is not a great narrator. Kinda hated him often. Just the things he thought and said were not good. Not here for it. Hated how the body image issues were put in the story. Could have layered in better completely. Especially for how Elliot blows up because of them later on. Like I love when things like that are included in a story but this was too much. That whole scene of the first date at the restaurant was too much.
hated the Ex-boyfriend Kelly. Unnecessary on so many levels.
Just I liked the general plot outline even with all this until the big twist happens and it's like yeah nope. Now I'm really done. I wanted to like this so bad but I did not.
But the Miss Congeniality reference killed me though. Like that was Funny. I'll give you that.
