Bear my Baby combines 3 of my favorite things. Shifters, Seals, and a cool BBW. Connor is a rough, tough, ex-soldier for hire. But, he sees himself as irredeemable. He thinks he is just a mercenary and always will be. Cassie has a good life. She has an eccentric boss, but he treats her well. Then one night her boss is killed and her life falls apart.

Connor has a strong attraction to Cassie and she is confident enough to have a fun night with the gorgeous man. That's all it can be though, then she has to go into hiding. Will fate leave them alone?

I really enjoyed this book. It has adventure, danger, and some HOT scenes. It's not a heavy emotional read but it is a hang onto your hats fun romp!

The title of this book is cheesy as all hell, but the book itself was pretty damn good!

The hero and heroine were likable, it had a cute kid, the mystery/baddie part could have been a bit more fleshed out, but overall a decent read!

Bear My Baby by Anya Nowlan, is book one in her Shifter Squad Six series.

All alpha and "Seal Team" elements found in this novel, it was cute and a quick read but not in my favorite category of shifter series. I think my dissatisfaction came more from the 'other' characters than the main Squad Six or the heroine Cassie.

3.5 stars.
