Sweet and satisfying

The way that this story was told - in flashbacks from one point of view and in the present from another - is brilliantly done. I was getting worried about the reveal of the conflict, but it wasn't as bad as I was imagining. Noah and Clark are a supportive and affectionate couple, and were fun to read about. I wish I could have seen even more of 13-year-old Noah - he was AWESOME. There were some laugh-out-loud moments, and lots of sexy times. This will go on my reread someday list.

what the shit was this? Like, I read it and I'm still not sure. Very poorly conceived dual timeline with amnesia (that just sort of magics itself away without comment?) I still don't understand what game the one character was playing that led to their separation.

I loved it from the beginning to the end. Clark and Noah's love was so special. It was an enjoyable read and I can't wait to read the rest in the series. I liked how it went from past to present it worked for this story.

This book seriously pissed me off. I will put the reason be hind spoilers

SpoilerSeriously! Noah cheated and it's Clark who is apologizing for walking away? It took so long to get to the explanation for the whole cheating bit that I sat and fumed while reading and built up resentment. When the explanation came, it was lame and stupid and did nothing to make feel better. Clark took all the responsibility and vowed to change to make Noah want him. NO NO NO!

I liked the flashbacks and seeing how Noah and Clark came to be, but all the present stuff sucked. Too much sex (I know, I can't believe I said it either) and the whole bit above. I don't think it was the quantity as much as the quality of sex that bothered me. It felt like they were trying too hard and it felt forced.

I would have DNF if I didn't have it for a challenge or two.

Spoiler"Damn it. I felt sorry for Ben. Actually ached for my brother. He wasn’t a bad guy, really."
You almost convinced me. Almost.

The writing style is good, just like the angst, but the characters are so frustrating, damn it!

Noah wakes up in the hospital to find himself having been in a coma for three weeks. Although he has lost his memory and thinks it is three years ago in the past. As his partner Clark comes to his side he starts remembering the last three years and how things have changed. Three years ago Clark left Noah and now the accident has brought them back together. They realized what they have and that they never should have given up on each other in the first place.

I liked this book because it went switched back from the present to the past and I got the whole story in a relatively shorter story. The author C. Cardeno did a great job. I liked the characters and the relationship between Noah and Clark. These characters were great. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

I give this story 4 stars.

There was something a little bit special about this story.

After Noah wakes in hospital he can't remember the last 3 years. However he does remember the tremendous love he has for Clark and is sure that Clark will always be there for him. The story alternates from the present to the past so we learn how Noah and Clark first met and fell in love. From a young age they always knew they were meant for each other. "That's because I do belong to you. Always have. Always will, angel."

Noah's past was troubled and he was younger than Clark. Clark spent 4 years waiting for Noah to grow up and Noah has been and will be the only man for him. Noah feels exactly the same way about Clark. However something happens that leads to the events of the last 3 years, something that Noah doesn't want to remember, causing his memory loss.

The chemistry between the couple is obvious in the love they share and the physical attraction, with the book containing some tender romantic moments, combined with humour and passionate sex. "I got up and adjusted my hard dick. Hey, naked Clark, remember? Front and back view. That's like a recipe for insta-hard-on, no additional ingredients necessary."

As the story unfolds, it is clear that Noah and Clark share a true, undying love. The end of the books contains some beautiful lines as Clark explains what he sees in Noah.
"A guy who stands tall and proud when he faces the world, but falls to his knees when he's facing me." "A guy who hasn't needed anything from his parents or anyone else since before he was a teenager, but who needs everything from me and has from day one." "A guy who hasn't ever cared what anyone else thinks, but hangs on my every word."

Hmmmm as with the previous two books I read in this series (He Completes Me & Where He Ends & I Begin) I liked a lot about this book but there where some things I didn't like. The feeling I get when I read the Home series are that these are "fairy tales" not "real world" based. Going into the story you KNOW the MCs will have a HEA and that it will have sugary sweet moments that don't happen in real life.

I don't like to give anything away in a review. More often than not, I don't say anything except leave stars.
I stayed up late to finish it, and I'm sort of speechless. I loved this book in so many ways, it's hard to know where to start. I loved the characters, the story, the first person pov that went back and forth between the two men, and the past and present.
I'd give it ten stars if I could, so yes, I highly recommend this book.

I couldn't put it down!

The twists and turns kept me on my toes. I love how ones memories were last while the others were present and then they met to bring you up to speed.

Loved it, now on to book 3,
