This issue reminded me of the scene in the show where Morty shows Summer his grave, for obvious reasons:

This is one of the more complicated and much darker in tone storylines for this series. Jerry and Beth start arguing and airing their grievances and it gets really uncomfortable. Summer attempts to fix things even though she has no idea what to do; she just sees her family falling apart. And all the while Rick and Morty are inside the head of an alternate Rick, tapped into what's left of its/his memory.

Stuff like this really makes this series, and show, transcend being "just a comic/cartoon" and it's why I love it.
