This was cute. I wish the mother had been more present. It's always weird when the story is about a two parent household but because the focus is on one parent's relationship with the child we barely see the other--why?!

backmatter includes how to build a rocket like Bonnie's and notes on inspiration which was drawn from the author's grandfather. no citations otherwise
