It took me forever to finish this book, and I'm not really sure why. It was an engaging mystery filled with interesting and quirky characters and the writing was excellent, and yet I struggled through the last hundred pages. I mostly blame pregnancy fatigue for my difficulty in enjoying the book, but I'm also not going to rush to read the rest of the series when so many others have held my attention more easily.
