Bizarre et perturbant. Zola écrit très bien mais le thème du livre est trop violent et graphique. pas un seul des personnages ne survit, à ce demander si le but du livre n’est pas juste comment tuer chaque personnage les un après les autres

I really enjoyed the last book of Zola’s that I read (Nana), but, in this one, there’s a lot of violence in the very first chapter, and the overall plot deals with grooming/abuse, which was very triggering for me, and I’m sure would be for a lot of other women/people as well.
