My least favorite of the series, just felt like there were long stretches where nothing happened. I would like to see a book (or novella) about what happens after the series end, specifically chapter 80. But I doubt we will ever get that. Definitely interesting characters, Laz had her work cut out for her trying to convince Death to be human. I'm sad the series is over though.

This was so good! No idea why it took me so long to pick this up. Despite the fact that I think this was an opportunity to choose a different race for either the heroine or Death - considering the 1st 3 books took place on different continents with heroines of different races. This was the right opportunity for a character of Asain or African ancestry . . . I Still enjoyed it.
